247 sports has released predictions for ESPN’s College GameDay appearances for all 12 weeks of the college football season and today I take a look at the top five (in no particular order) out of their list that I’m most looking forward to.

WEEK 6 (OCT. 10): TEXAS VS. OKLAHOMA

“Strap ’em up. This is a big-boy game in the Big 12. The Sooners will be well on their way to a sixth consecutive conference championship with a victory, a win that would push the Longhorns’ collective backs against the wall with very little margin for error the rest of the way. This is one of the games in the Big 12 this season that is circled on everyone’s calendar. And there’s a couple others coming up that GameDay might be interested in.”

WEEK 7 (OCT. 17): GEORGIA AT ALABAMA

“One game all SEC fans have pointed to throughout the offseason was Georgia’s showdown at Alabama, widely-agreed upon as the league’s most-anticipated matchup in 2020. We’ll still see it with the revised scheduling, but it does come a few weeks later when both teams have had a chance to get their bearings with new quarterbacks. This could be the first of two meetings this fall for the Bulldogs and Crimson Tide. Other options here include LSU at Florida and North Carolina at Florida State.”

WEEK 10 (NOV. 7): CLEMSON AT NOTRE DAME

“This game has been billed as the ACC’s most important this fall and we tend to agree. Top-ranked Clemson going on the road to a battle a team with a talented roster and veteran quarterback could get dicey for the Tigers. Dabo Swinney’s squad hasn’t lost a conference game since the 2017 season and will be favored in every matchup once again. Even with a loss however, neither of these teams would be out of the final four picture.”

WEEK 11 (NOV. 14): ALABAMA AT LSU

“Could the Crimson Tide be featured three times this season on GameDay? That would mark the national high, per our projections. Blame the Big Ten and Pac-12’s postponements for that. But this one’s a guarantee. Alabama-LSU is always a high stakes showdown and this season’s matchup in mid-November could decide the division — as did last fall’s epic clash in Tuscaloosa. These are two totally different teams this time around, however.”

The Hall Pass Preseason Prediction: LSU

WEEK 14 (DEC. 5): FLORIDA AT TENNESSEE

“Imagine if this game decided Florida’s spot in the SEC Championship Game? A few things need to happen for this season to be deemed a success for Jeremy Pruitt in Knoxville. Year 3 must include forward advancement. What does that mean? A win over Florida, Georgia or Alabama would help. The Vols won six straight to end the 2019 campaign, but are still trying to climb the ladder for a place in the SEC East’s elite-tier.”
